Challenge Your Vision — For 34 years, HECUA has changed lives by challenging students to think... and to act. Our vision of equipping students to become effective citizens and agents of change is being realized through the support of students, alumni, campus leaders and community organizations. HECUA learners think critically about social justice issues and take part in social change – skills honed by their HECUA experience.

Dare to Learn — Pass on the HECUA experience. As a past participant you know what happens when students, faculty, and community members come together to address social issues – immediate and lifelong learning, collective action for social justice and shared democracy, and discovery of personal vocations and careers.

Dare to Act — HECUA alumni are uniquely poised to help ensure our future. There are a variety of ways you can make it possible for others to experience HECUA.

- Be an Ambassador:
Encourage current college students to consider participating in a HECUA program. E-mail [email protected] to start now.

- Be Involved in the Learning:
Host an intern; participate in alumni workshops and travel programs; share your expertise. Visit www.hecua.org for ways to be involved.

- Ensure the future of HECUA: The cost of innovative programs like HECUA continues to rise at a time when funding for higher education is being cut. You can help provide support for current programs and participants through your financial gift.

HECUA offers a whole new way of looking at your world. To keep the vision in focus, for yourself and for others, we invite you to begin now with a contribution that will reconnect you with HECUA, involve you in the learning, and provide financial support for development of cutting-edge programs and teaching methods.

"The future will belong to those who have passion, and to those who are willing to make the personal commitment to make our country better." – Paul Wellstone, a HECUA Founder
