SELECTION PROCESS |
SELECTION PROCESS |
1.
Complete an Internship Interest Form. Available online at www.hecua.org/tcinternships
or on request. 2.
Completed Interest Forms are put into Resource Files. 3. One month prior to the program (January or August), faculty meet with students. At this meeting, students develop and define their learning goals and browse through the files to identify potential internship sites. Students follow-up with sites to schedule interview. Interviews provide students and prospective internship supervisors an avenue to determine whether it is a good match for both parties. Site supervisors offer the position directly to the student. Note: Submitting an Interest Form does not guarantee an internship placement. |
1.
Submit an application by early December. Available online at www.hecua.org/pip
or on request. 2.
A selection committee reviews applications and selects 20 grant awardees
to host one intern. 3.
In the early spring, HECUA and organizations recruit students for positions.
4.
Awardees interview and hire students. The Partners Internship Program is highly competitive receiving 100 applications annually for 20 grants. |
