The following information is intended to assist students and advisors in the distribution and approval of credits for participation in HECUA programs.

Total Credits

The Metro Urban Studies Term (MUST) provides 16 credits. Courses and credits appear on the transcript as St. Mary's credits and are included in GPA.

 

General Education Credits

HECUA program courses fulfill the following general education requirements: [check with Off-Campus Programs office]

 

Major Credits

Students from all majors are encouraged to participate in MUST.

 

Majors that have participated in MUST and may have received major credit include:

Business • Criminal Justice • English • Human Services • Political Science • Psychology • Public Relations • Sociology • Spanish • Speech Communication

 

Discuss with your faculty advisor specific credit distribution in relation to your degree program and credits you need for the major, general education and/or electives.

Campus Deadlines

Students planning to study off campus Fall semester must contact the St. Mary's Center for Global Education by March 1 to apply for permission to study off-campus.

 

HECUA Deadline

Applications for MUST are due in the HECUA office by April 15. Early application is encouraged. Applications are reviewed as they are received. Late applications are considered on a space available basis.

 

 

City Arts HECUA
