Remembering the Crisis Colony

Dear friend, Last week, President Trump announced his intention to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. DACA protects about 800,000 young undocumented immigrants from deportation, allowing recipients to obtain driver’s licenses, enroll in college, and legally secure jobs.
