The history, mission, and values of the University of San Francisco and HECUA are closely linked. The University of San Francisco seeks to fashion a more humane and just world, and that mission is rooted in Jesuit values, comes alive in the University's diverse learning community, and is broadened by a global orientation. Students at USF are challenged to reach higher standards and to use their education to promote justice and serve the common good.
Special services HECUA provides to the campus:
• University of San Francisco students are welcome on all HECUA programs abroad and in the United States, and pay the member school program fee. Students have participated in Community Internships in Latin America, the January term program Social and Political Transformation in Ecuador, New Zealand Culture and Environment: A Shared Future, Democracy and Social Change in Northern Ireland, and The New Norway.
