Metro Urban Studies Term (MUST)

Total Credits
The Metro Urban Studies Term (MUST) provides 16 credit hours. Courses and credits appear on the transcript as Augustana credits and are included in GPA.

Core of Liberal Studies Credits
MUST has been approved to fulfill the following requirement:

Students from all majors are encouraged to participate in MUST.

Discuss with your faculty advisor specific credit distribution in relation to your degree program and credits you need for the major, core of liberal studies and/or electives.

Campus Deadlines
Students planning to study off campus Fall semester must contact the Augustana Study Abroad Office by April 15 to apply for permission to enroll in MUST; for Spring semester by December 1.

HECUA Deadline
Applications for MUST are due in the HECUA office for fall semester by April 15; for spring semester by December 1. Early application is encouraged, as the program may fill before the deadline. Applications are reviewed as they are received. Late applications are considered on a space available basis.
