Scandinavian Urban Studies Term (SUST)

Total Credits
The Scandinavian Urban Studies Term (SUST) provides 16 credit hours. Courses and credits appear on the transcript as Augustana credits and are included in GPA.

Major Credits
Students from all majors are encouraged to participate in SUST.
Majors that have participated in SUST include:
o Biology o Business Administration o Elementary Education o Social Work

Discuss with your faculty advisor specific credit distribution in relation to your degree program and credits you need for the major, core of liberal studies and/or electives.

Campus Deadlines

Students planning to study off campus Fall semester must contact the Augustana Study Abroad Office by March 15 to apply for permission to enroll in SUST.

HECUA Deadline
Applications for SUST are due in the HECUA office by March 15. Early application is encouraged as the program may fill before the deadline. Applications are reviewed as they are received. Late applications are considered on a space available basis.
