City Arts
Spring Semester
The following information is intended to assist
students and advisors in the distribution
and approval of credits for participation
in HECUA programs. Contact HECUA Admissions

Total Credits
The City Arts program provides 16 semester
credits. Courses and credits appear on the
transcript as CSB/SJU credits and are included
in GPA.
Core Curriculum Requirements
The program may fulfill the following core
requirements, to be determined
in consultation with academic advising staff:
- FA
- HMU
- Discussion
- Writing
Major Credits
Students from all majors are encouraged to
participate in CITY ARTS.
Majors that have participated in CITY ARTS
are:
Art - English - German -Humanities - Liberal
Studies
Peace Studies majors may use CITY ARTS credits
toward their major. Discuss with your advisor
how the internship and seminars may be approved
for the Upper Division and internship requirements
within the major, depending on your concentration.
Discuss with your advisor specific credit
distribution in relation to your degree program
and credits you need for the major core curriculum
and/or electives. Credit approval in the major
must be approved through the department chair.
Registration
Students are automatically registered for
off-campus study; check with the CSB/SJU Office
of International Education with questions.

Campus Deadlines
Students planning to enroll in CITY ARTS should
submit a completed application to the CSB/SJU
International Education Office by November
15.
HECUA Deadline
Applications for CITY ARTS are due in the
HECUA office by December 1. Early application
is encouraged as the program may fill before
the deadline. Applications are reviewed as
they are received. Late applications are considered
on a space available basis.
