Scandinavian Urban Studies Term (SUST)
Fall Semester

Total Credits
The Scandinavian Urban Studies Term (SUST) provides 4 course credits which are awarded as transfer credits; not included in the Gustavus GPA.

Core Requirements
SUST fulfills one course of the G (foreign culture) requirement.

Major Credits
Students from all majors are encouraged to participate in SUST.

Discuss with your faculty advisor specific credit distribution in relation to your degree program and credits you need for the major, core requirements and/or electives.

Campus Deadlines
Students planning to study off campus fall semester must submit their applications to the Gustavus Office of International Education by March 1 for permission to study off- campus.

HECUA Deadline
Applications for SUST are due in the HECUA office by March 15. Early application is encouraged as the program may fill before the deadline. Applications are reviewed as they are received. Late applications are considered on a space available basis.
