students and advisors in the distribution
and approval of credits for participation

Total Credits
The Scandinavian Urban Studies Term (SUST)
provides 4 course credits. Courses and credits
appear on the transcript as Hamline credits
and are included in GPA.
Major Credits
Students from all majors are encouraged to
participate in SUST.

credit distribution in relation to your degree
program and credits you need for the major,
Hamline Plan and/or electives.
Registration
The student need not register at Hamline for
the HECUA term. HECUA submits registration
on the students behalf to the Hamline
registrar.

Campus Deadlines
Students planning to study off campus fall
semester must submit an application to the
Hamline International Programs Center (IPC)
by November 20.
HECUA Deadline
Applications for SUST are due in the HECUA
office by March 15. Early application is encouraged
as the program may fill before the deadline.
Applications are reviewed as they are received.
Late applications are considered on a space
available basis.
