The following information is intended to assist
students and advisors in the distribution
and approval of credits for participation
in HECUA programs. Contact HECUA Admissions

Total Credits
Each program provides 4 course credits. Courses
and credits appear on the transcript as St.
Olaf credits and are included in GPA.
General Education Credits
Programs have been pre-approved to fulfill
the following requirements:
CILA
- HBS-E: Studies in Human Behavior and Society
- WRI: Writing
All courses are Level II or Level III.
Major Credits
Students from all majors are encouraged to
participate in HECUA Latin America programs.

Campus Deadlines
Students planning to study off campus fall
or spring semester must submit applications
to the St. Olaf Office of International and
Off-Campus Studies by March 1 in the prior
academic year.
HECUA Deadline
St. Olaf will forward your completed application
to HECUA by HECUAs March 15 deadline
for CILA. Early application is encouraged,
as the programs may fill before the deadline.
Applications are reviewed as they are received.
Late applications are considered on a space
available basis.
