Scandinavian Urban Studies Term (SUST)
Fall Semester

Total Credits
The Scandinavian Urban Studies Term (SUST) provides 4 course credits. Courses and credits appear on the transcript as St. Olaf credits but are not included in GPA.

General Education Credits
SUST has been pre-approved to fulfill the following requirements:
- HBS-E: Studies in Human Behavior and Society
- ALS-L: Literary Studies
- WRI: Writing
All courses are Level II or Level III.

Major Credits
Students from all majors are encouraged to participate in SUST.

Discuss with your faculty advisor specific credit distribution in relation to your degree program and credits you need for the major, general education and/or electives.

Registration
Students will be registered at St. Olaf for HECUA-SUST.

Campus Deadlines
Students planning to study off campus fall semester must submit applications to the St. Olaf Office of International and Off-Campus Studies by March 1.

HECUA Deadline
St. Olaf will forward your completed application to HECUA by HECUA’s March 15 deadline. Early application is encouraged as the program may fill before the deadline. Applications are reviewed as they are received. Late applications are considered on a space available basis.
