(CILA)
Fall Semester
The following information is intended to assist
students and advisors in the distribution
and approval of credits for participation
in HECUA programs. Contact HECUA Admissions

Total Credits
Each program provides 16 credits. Courses
and credits appear on the transcript as St.
Marys credits and are included in GPA.
General Education Credits
HECUA program courses may fulfill specific
general education requirements. Check with
the Off-Campus Programs office for information
and advice.
Major Credits
Students from all majors are encouraged to
participate in the Latin America programs.
Discuss with your faculty advisor specific
credit distribution in relation to your degree
program and credits you need for the major,
general education and/or electives.
Registration
To participate in a HECUA Latin America program,
students will be advised by the Study Abroad
Program office on how to register for the
term away.

Campus Deadlines
Students planning to enroll in CILA fall semester
must contact the St. Marys Study Abroad
Program office by February 15.
HECUA Deadline
Applications for CILA are due in the HECUA
office by March 15. Early application is encouraged,
as the programs may fill before the deadline.
Applications are reviewed as they are received.
Late applications are considered on a space
available basis.
