Scandinavian Urban Studies Term (SUST)

Total Credits
The Scandinavian Urban Studies Term (SUST) provides 16 credits. Courses and credits appear on the transcript as St. Mary’s credits and are included in GPA.

General Education Credits
HECUA program courses may fulfill specific general education requirements. Check with the Off-Campus Programs office for information and advice.

Major Credits
Students from all majors are encouraged to participate in SUST.

Discuss with your faculty advisor specific credit distribution in relation to your degree program and credits you need for the major, general education and/or electives.

Registration
To participate in SAUS, students will be advised by the Study Abroad Program office on how to register for the term away.

Campus Deadlines
Students planning to study off campus fall semester must contact the St. Mary’s Study Abroad Program office by February 15 to apply for permission to study off-campus.

HECUA Deadline
Applications for SUST are due in the HECUA office by March 15. Early application is encouraged as the program may fill before the deadline. Applications are reviewed as they are received. Late applications are considered on a space available basis.
