City Arts
Spring Semester

The following information is intended to assist students and advisors in the distribution and approval of credits for participation in HECUA programs. Contact HECUA Admissions with any questions (651/646-8832, 800/554-1089, [email protected]).

Total Credits
The City Arts program provides 16 semester credits. Courses and credits appear on the transcript as St. Thomas credits and are included in GPA.

General Education Credits
CITY ARTS may fulfill some General Education Requirements; inquire with the respective chair for approval.

Major Credits
Students from all majors are encouraged to participate in CITY ARTS. Credits earned through HECUA courses can be applied to major requirements in the liberal arts.
Discuss with your faculty advisor specific credit distribution in relation to your degree program and credits you need for the major, general education and/or electives.

Women’s Studies majors (through ACTC) may use the two internship course credits toward the major. Discuss criteria for the internship with your major advisor to ensure that it is appropriately related to women’s studies.

None.

HECUA Deadline
Applications for CITY ARTS are due in the HECUA office by December 1. Early application is encouraged as the program may fill before the deadline. Applications are reviewed as they are received. Late applications are considered on a space available basis.
