Total Credits

The Metro Urban Studies Term (MUST) provides 16 credit hours. Courses and credits appear on the transcript as Augustana credits and are included in GPA.

Core of Liberal Studies Credits

MUST has been approved to fulfill the following requirement:
3.3 Human Behavior and Social Institutions

Major Credits

Students from all majors are encouraged to participate in MUST.

Majors that have participated in MUST include:
Business Administration o Computer Science o English o Gender Studies o Government o Journalism o Mass Communication o Sociology

Campus Deadlines

Students planning to study off campus Fall semester must contact the Augustana Study Abroad Office by April 1 to apply for permission to enroll in MUST; for Spring semester by November 15.

HECUA Deadline

Applications for MUST are due in the HECUA office for Fall semester by April 15; for Spring semester by December 1. Early application is encouraged, as the program may fill before the deadline. Applications are reviewed as they are received. Late applications are considered on a space available basis.

Spring Semester
