All applicants should follow the procedures listed below. Please be sure that you complete all parts of the application to ensure the Selection Committee has all the information that they need to make their decision. If any part is missing, your application cannot be processed.

2. Application Questions :
General instructions: The Selection Committee is interested in learning more about you. Please give careful thought to each of the following questions and provide concise and succinct responses. (Maximum of 1500 words – 6 pages double-spaced)




1). Who are you? Why do you want to be part of the Graduate Fellowship?
2). What is your understanding of the goals of the Fellowship program?
3). Explain why you are qualified for the Fellowship.
4). What does human rights and social change mean to you?
5). How have you been involved or how do you hope to be involved in human rights and social change?
6). What is your current research interest in your academic program?
7). Otto Bremer Foundation has critical investments in human rights, organizational effectiveness, shelter, and health-related program areas. How do your research interests intersect with these critical investments?
8). Propose a project that pertains to the Otto Bremer Foundation’s program areas and your own academic, professional interests. For example, identify a significant social issue that concerns you and explain how you propose to address it during the Graduate Fellowship.
9). Is there anything you would like to share with the selection committee that will assist us in evaluating your application?
