Metro Urban Studies Term (MUST)

is intended to assist students and advisors in the distribution and
approval of credits for participation in HECUA programs. Contact

Total Credits
The Metro Urban Studies
Term (MUST) provides 16 semester credits. Courses and credits appear
on the transcript as St. Catherine credits and are included in GPA.
Core Curriculum
Students can fulfill the
Global Search for Justice requirement through participation in MUST.
Obtain guidelines from the CSC Global Studies office. Intention to fulfill
the requirement must be indicated when you register for MUST at CSC.
You must meet with the HECUA campus representative prior to applying
for MUST to discuss additional post-program work required in order to
fulfill the Global Search for Justice requirement.
MUST may fulfill the Social
Science requirement. Reviewed case-by-case, based on the student's reading,
focus of projects, etc.

Students from all majors
are encouraged to participate in MUST.

Applications for MUST are
due in the HECUA office for Fall semester by April 15;
for Spring semester by December 1.
Early application is encouraged
as the program may fill before the deadline. Applications are reviewed
as they are received. Late applications are considered on a space available
basis.
City Arts
Spring Semester
The following information

CITY ARTS may fulfill the
Fine Arts requirement. Reviewed case-by-case, based on the student's
reading, focus of projects, etc.

Women's Studies majors (through
ACTC) may use the two internship course credits toward the major. Discuss
criteria for the internship with your major advisor to ensure that it
is appropriately related to women's studies.

to fulfill the Global Search for Justice requirement.
