Working For Change Conference

Working for Change Conference
When: Saturday March 17th, 9:30am-5:00pm
Where: Gustavus Adolphus College, Saint Peter, Minnesota
Cost: FREE!!

Working for Change is a collaborative project of HECUA schools and has been offered annually since 2003. The College of St Catherine hosted the event in 2006 and 2005, and Macalester College hosted in 2004.  Gustavus Adolphus is this year’s proud host and has extended the workshop into an entire day of activities. Students and alumni from all HECUA schools are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

This conference provides the opportunity to explore careers with a focus on social justice. Presenters are employed in a variety of nonprofits, schools, and other organizations that represent pathways to social change. By attending you will gain a better understanding of career options, learn what it takes to work for change while getting paid, and network with people who have similar interests and values.

There will be speakers, workshops, and panels to attend in order to gain more information about working for change. There will also be a concert that night in conjunction with the conference. INGRAM HILL will be performing at Gustavus later on that evening.
